Atlanta Falcons' Curtis Lofton Signs as a 2009-2010 Southeast Dairy Association Spokesperson
Curtis Lofton was selected as the 2009-2010 Southeast United Dairy Industry Association (SUDIA) spokesperson from the Atlanta Falcons.
As a SUDIA spokesperson, Lofton inspires students to live active and healthy lifestyles by encouraging participation in the “Fuel Up To Play 60” (FUTP60) program.
FUTP60 is a youth-based program that encourages students to exercise 60 minutes each day and eat a well balanced diet, including low-fat and fat-free dairy.
Lofton, 23, is a linebacker and was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in 2008 and was ranked fourth on the team with 94 tackles.
While playing college football at Oklahoma, Lofton earned first-team All-American honors from the NFL Draft Report, Football Writers Association of America, Sports Illustrated and The Sporting News.
“Lofton’s achievements and dedication to living an active and healthy lifestyle make him a great role model for children,” said Betsy Dietsch, SUDIA’s program account manager for Georgia. “The FUTP60 program is a great way for students to learn about the importance of physical activity and nutrition.”
